UGA has an SEC showdown against South Carolina this weekend.

The AJC’s DawgNation.com has confirmed that at least eight of UGA’s commits will attend this weekend’s game.

Here are some of the predictions:

Ben Cleveland by Michael Carvell/AJC/Dawgnation)

Ben Cleveland, offensive lineman, Stevens County — “Georgia is going to win. They’re going to be solid on offense this game. I think they’ll be well prepared.

Charlie Woerner, wide receiver, Rabun County — “UGA 21 to 20 — it’s always a close game.”

Darion Anderson, wide receiver, Houston County — “I think UGA will win because I don’t think South Carolina is all that good, and UGA’s defense is really good.”

Chad Clay, defensive back, Peachtree Ridge — “I’m going to say 55 to 0 — Georgia wins,” he laughed. “But really, I’m going with 38 to 14.”

Tyrique McGhee, defensive back, Peach County — “UGA will get the victory because of how South Carolina has been looking from its past two games. UGA just seems to have the upper hand, and with it being in Athens, it’s not in South Carolina’s favor.

Davion Curtis (official visit), wide receiver, Temple, Texas — “I think we will win by three because South Carolina is a very talented team and we are, too, but I think our defense is going to have a great night and our offense is going to be rolling.”

Bailey Hockman was the first commitment of the 2017 signing class at UGA. (Rob Saye/ Special)/Dawgnation)

Bailey Hockman, 2017 quarterback, McEachern — “UGA wins 27-17. There will be a few defensive problems for both ways, but UGA’s (running) backs will take it home.”
