DESTIN, Fla. — Kirby Smart was walking briskly out of the Sandestin Hilton on Wednesday when he was asked what he thought of Jim Harbaugh’s tweet broadsiding Nick Saban the previous night.

“What tweet?” Smart answered.

Then, after a moment, Smart gave a sideways glance, and grinned.

Smart has been on the receiving end of Harbaugh’s tweeting over satellite camps. They got over it, and on Thursday Georgia and Michigan are going to co-host a satellite camp at Cedar Grove High School. Harbaugh and most of his staff are scheduled to be there. But Smart has yet to publicly commit.

“I haven’t decided yet,” Smart said on Wednesday, a day after he said he planned to go to “a couple” such camps, but had not decided which ones.  But as he left the hotel, Smart told reporters: “I’ll see y’all. I’m sure y’all will be around there.”

Smart also indicated that satellite camps were a big part of the coaches’ meetings here in Destin. Several other head coaches said the same.

So here’s the question: Is Smart okay going to a camp with a guy (Harbaugh) who just took a shot at his old boss (Nick Saban)?

“I gotta do what I’ve gotta do,” Smart said.
