Zion Logue was a crtical leader for the Georgia program during his time in Athens. And now he’ll head off to the NFL, as Logue declared for the 2024 NFL Draft on Monday.

Logue has been a multi-year contributor for the Bulldogs and a key leader on the defensive line. Logue signed as a member of the 2019 signing class.

Logue had previously accepted an invite to the Shrine Bowl.

Logue played in all 14 games for Georgia this season, picking up 17 tackles, 3.5 of which were for a loss. Logue also broke up 3 passes this season. The Shrine Bowl will take place on Feb. 1 in Frisco, Texas.

Georgia is expected to see plenty of turnover on its defensive line this offseason. Tramel Walthour will exhaust his eligibility. Georgia could also see seniors Warren Brinson and Naz Stackhouse elect to move on to the NFL, as both are seniors. Brinson and Stackhouse could take advantage of their COVID year and elect to return for another season.

The Bulldogs have made a considerable effort to beef up on the defensive line, as they expect to sign six defensive linemen in the 2024 recruiting cycle. Georgia will also bring in defensive line transfer Xzavier McLeod from South Carolina.

The Bulldogs will also bring back key contributors like Mykel Williams, Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins and Christen Miller on the defensive line.

Georgia has now had nine players declare for the 2024 NFL Draft. Players have until Jan. 15 to do so.
