WATCH: Pro wrestling legend Ric Flair calls for support for UGA at Torrin Lawrence Memorial
Ric Flair is stylin’ and profilin’ his way to Athens on Saturday, as the pro wrestling legend will be attending the Torrin Lawrence Memorial track and field meet on Georgia’s campus.
Flair’s stepdaughter, Sophia Kidder, is a runner on the Bulldogs’ women’s team, which is a big reason why Flair will be attending to cheer on the Dawgs.
On Tuesday afternoon, Flair posted a video on Twitter calling for Georgia fans to come out to support the track and field teams at the meet, telling his followers that they don’t want to miss out on the action. Watch below:

Flair also made sure to mention that the meet is honoring Torrin Lawrence, who was a former Georgia sprinter who died in a car accident in 2014. This is just the second annual Torrin Lawrence Memorial, as the inaugural event was held in 2017.
It’s the final home meet for the Bulldogs this season.
