There’s recruiting and there’s the way that the University of Georgia goes about recruiting the nation’s elite prospects.

If memory serves, the Bulldogs also offered the young nephew of current redshirt senior Demetris Robertson back in January of 2016. That was Michael Roberston. He was a member of the class of 2020 and he was just halfway through his eighth-grade year.

This latest offer for seventh-grader Amari Sabb rolls the clock back another year in terms of the earliest of football offers from UGA. Sabb is a highly talented RB/DB/WR in the class of 2026.

Consider this: Kirby Smart is 45 years old. He will be 50 by the time Amari Sabb enrolls and plays in his first college football season. Ole Miss and Penn State have also already offered Amari Sabb, too.
