Georgia’s 2026 football schedule is littered with quality opponents that set up enticing matchups all year long. There are, however, a pair of games in particular that ESPN billed as “must-see.”

ESPN’s Bill Connelly broke down each of the Power 4’s most highly anticipated games, using criteria that features “the highest combined SP+ ratings for both teams, and a projected scoring margin under eight points.”

Among the five SEC games listed, two were Georgia road games this season against Alabama and Ole Miss. The other matchups picked were Texas A&M at LSU, Texas at LSU and Texas A&M hosting Texas at the end of the season.

This will be the second time in three seasons Georgia hits the road for games at Alabama and Ole Miss. Georgia lost to both of those schools in 2024 and 2025.

Georgia will make the trip to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, t on Oct. 10, seeking its first win at Bryant-Denny Stadium since 2007. It seems every time these two SEC juggernauts collide, an instant classic is bound to happen, which Connelly hopes comes true again this year.

“We can only pray that this one’s as good as the last Bama-Georgia game in Tuscaloosa,” Connelly said.

The Crimson Tide and Bulldogs split last season’s meetings. Alabama won in Athens, before Georgia returned the favor with a 28-7 SEC championship victory.

To cap a challenging mid-October to early November stretch, Georgia will face Ole Miss for the fourth time in three years on Nov. 7. The Bulldogs are 1-2 against the Rebels during that span and just 2-3 since Smart’s first season in 2016. All three losses were away from Athens.

The teams split two memorable meetings in 2025, with Georgia claiming a 43-35 regular-season victory before Ole Miss responded with a 39-34 win in the College Football Playoff quarterfinals.

“These teams played twice last season. The first game decided who would make the SEC title matchup. The second decided a spot in the CFP semifinals,” Connelly said. “And hey, for the moment at least, Ole Miss’ Pete Golding is unbeaten all time against Georgia’s Kirby Smart.”

The Bulldogs hope to get their first win in Oxford, Mississippi since 2011.

According to DraftKings, Georgia is currently a slight favorite in both meetings: (-3) vs. Alabama and (-4.5) vs. Ole Miss.

Other notable games for Georgia this season include home games against Oklahoma (Sept. 26), Auburn (Oct. 17) and a neutral-site contest vs. Florida (Oct. 31).

But before all of that, Georgia will begin its 2026 campaign on Sept. 5 versus Tennessee Tech at 3 p.m. ET on SEC Network+.
