Georgia quarterback Jacob Eason and actor Chris Pratt are from the same hometown — Lake Stevens, Wash. So, it wouldn’t be too unusual for the two to run into each other during a trip back home, right?
That’s what happened on Friday night. Well, kind of.
During a trip to the movie theater, Eason took a picture of a cardboard cutout of Pratt, sending it out to his followers on Twitter as well as Pratt himself.
That wasn’t all that happened though. Pratt responded, giving a shoutout to Eason to his 4.12 million followers on Twitter.
Perhaps one day Eason and Pratt will actually meet up for a picture, whether that be in their hometown of Lake Stevens or perhaps on the University of Georgia campus.
Both Eason and Pratt are currently in the midst of preparations in their respective careers. Eason will be entering his sophomore season this fall, so he’s readying for spring practice with the Bulldogs. Meanwhile, Pratt will be starring in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 which comes out on May 5.
Eason is looking to continue strong after a freshman campaign in 2016 in which he threw for 2,430 yards and 16 touchdowns.
