Few things can rival a mother’s protective instincts.

Georgia running back Nick Chubb’s mother is no different. After seeing signs attacking her son around Knoxville on Saturday on social media, she took to her own account to address it.

Here’s La’Velle Chubb’s response which she posted on Facebook. She turned the negative sign into a positive one and put it next to a photo of Chubb kneeling, saying she “trained him which he was a baby.”

Chubb likely didn’t see the signs himself, but he certainly played like a man who didn’t want to see a repeat of Georgia’s loss to Tennessee in 2016. He carried the ball 16 times for 109 yards to help lead his team past the Volunteers 41-0.
