Former UGA commit politely declines to address rumors
Ever since news broke on UGA having a silent commit on the offensive line, rumors have swirled on who it could be.
Some fans on message boards have speculated that it could be former UGA commit E.J. Price, but the 4-star from Archer High School doesn’t want to comment on the situation.
“I don’t want to address rumors,” Price told the AJC’s DawgNation.com
Price de-committed from UGA in June, but never had any ill feelings toward the school after that. In fact, in a recent interview with DawgNation.com, Price said things between he and UGA are great.
“I’ve read a lot of interesting comments and things of that nature about Georgia and me, but like I said, I know where I stand,” Price said at the time.
“(UGA offensive line coach Rob) Sale hits me up about three times a week, (running backs coach Thomas) Brown hits me up about three times a week, coach (Mark) Richt hits me up about three times a week. I know where I stand with Georgia at the end of the day. I don’t let any of that outside nonsense get to me. Georgia is one of my top schools and I’m one of their top prospects and that’s just what it is.”
The Army All-American took an unofficial visit to UGA this weekend for the South Carolina game.
