Not many people at the College Hall of Fame were expecting Demetris Robertson, the nation’s No. 1 wide receiver and only unsigned five-star recruit left in the Class of 2016, to reveal his commitment to California, but he did. The mostly pro-UGA audience watching his ceremony was almost silent.
Georgia finished second to California, according to Robertson, but that didn’t stop several of his friends and other recruits from wishing him luck with his college decision.
Here are some of the reactions:
Georgia coach Kirby Smart:
@d_rob4 congrats on your decision! Cal is lucky to have you. Best of luck in Berkeley.
