Sanford Stadium with snow? Believe it.

A winter storm affected Athens, Ga., this week, and on Wednesday, some cool images surfaced of Georgia’s home covered in snow. If you squint hard enough, you can imagine what it would be like to see quarterback Jake Fromm try to lead the Bulldogs to victory in the white stuff. But thankfully, fans don’t have to bundle up to survive this wintry blast. Viewing these pictures near a heater will do just fine.

At a moment like this, you can sympathize with schools up north that must deal with snowy weather during football season. Fortunately, the SEC footprint doesn’t experience such issues on fall Saturdays. (Hey, people move to the South for a reason, right?)

Keep warm, everyone, and dream of SEC football’s return.
