Nick Chubb did something impressive Saturday.
As part of the Bulldogs building a 21-7 halftime lead against Vanderbilt on Saturday, the Georgia running back reached 4,000 rushing yards for his college career. The only other Georgia tailback to cross that mark was Herschel Walker, who ran for 5,259 yards from 1980 to 1982.
Chubb has done his part to help Georgia gain a comfortable advantage in Nashville. He has 106 yards on 12 carries with 2 touchdowns in the first half. The Bulldogs have outgained the Commodores 224 yards to 182.
Georgia has risen as one of the country’s top teams during its 5-0 start. Chubb figures to remain a big part of Georgia’s push to win the SEC East moving forward.
