Updated: Kentucky O.C. tweets after report he was offered UGA job
Kentucky offensive coordinator Eddie Gran made his first tweet in four days on Thursday evening after a report surfaced that he was offered a job as UGA’s offensive coordinator.
I’m all in, #BBN! Let’s do this !

Obviously, Gran seems to indicate he’s “all in” at Kentucky, and we’ll have to wait until later to find out what kind of interest that UGA had in Gran, if any.
Here’s what happened: Earlier on Thursday, Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio reported, “Smart has offered Gran total control of the offense and a salary of at least $1.1 million.”
Georgia is seeking a new offensive coordinator after Jim Chaney resigned to take a similar role with Tennessee this week.
This past season, Kentucky was ranked 104 out of 130 FBS teams in total offense, but the Wildcats won 10 games for the first time since 1977. They wrapped up the season with a win over Penn State in the Citrus Bowl.
Barrett Sallee, a college football analyst with CBS Sports, recently gave Gran a lot of praise. “The way he coaches to his offensive talent makes him one of the top five offensive coordinators in the country right now,” Sallee said, per Kentucky.com’s John Clay.
