Brandon Adams is a man of the people. Especially the DawgNation people.

He has a skill where he can bob and weave and thread his way through a conversation on any subject. Kites. Iguanas. Motorcycle maintenance. Sweet tea. Veggies on pizza. White Walkers. Zen.

Adams can go 2-3 minutes on just about any subject. He can go 30 or others, like professional wrestling history.

“BA” has also somehow convinced one of his most valuable co-workers to say some nice things about him.

“He is truly one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of getting to work with and know,” Riley said. “In my time at SEC Country, his desk was directly behind mine and we didn’t have a whole lot of reason to interact but he was always willing to listen to what I had to say about Georgia football. He is a way bigger expert on the history of the program than I am.”

“I think we need more people like Brandon Adams out there in the work world.”

It actually did not require that much convincing. That’s because all those things Mr. Riley said are spot on.

Adams is also a man of many rituals. But there are a few that belonged in the piece that ran on DawgNation.com this week that just didn’t quite fit that lengthy narrative.

That doesn’t make it any less true. If this could be a David Letterman-style blog for just one day, we’d leap at the chance to come up with a Top 10 list about Mr. Adams and his program.

DawgNation could hand out bingo cards at live events with these phrases on them. Or it simply be the signs that the “DawgNation Daily” program is not over until he’s said several of the following things.

“Top 10 Things We’re Most Likely to Hear BA Say on DawgNation Daily”

10. Something about the D-line or a specific hope for a D-line recruit.

9. A particular fondness for anything having to do with the LB, OL or RB positions on the team or in recruiting.

8. Something about the WR position or a specific worry about WR recruiting.

7. “Is that right?”

6. “Let’s dispense with all the pleasantries this morning…”

5. “I want to drill down here on that…..”

4. “I know I’ve kept you long but ……”

3. “That’s very well said.”

2. “And now on video…….”

1. Something to do with the “Gator Hater Countdown” or those lousy stinking (fill in the blank here.)

With that, this piece meets the quota on all Adams-related material for his 1,000th Show week on DawgNation.

He’s got a lot of entertaining to do before he gets another one for 2,000. Maybe we’ll just award him with a DawgNation 2,000 heavyweight title belt. That would likely draw greater appreciation than some good old-fashioned ribbing with this take.
