With a roster as strong as Georgia’s, it is no surprise that the Bulldogs have some of the most athletic players in the country.

In an effort to capture who are truly the most athletically gifted players in the country, The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman shared his annual Freaks list on Monday.

Two Georgia players made Feldman’s list of 101.

Perhaps surprisingly to some outside the program, wide receiver London Humphreys made the list.

“The 6-2, 200-pound Humphreys put up a jaw-dropping 11-5 broad jump this summer,” Feldman wrote. “He also vertical jumped 35 1/2 inches and power cleaned 315 pounds.”

Feldman also noted that the Georgia wide receiver was a standout baseball player during his high school days. He also broke Jalen Ramsey’s state record in the 200-meter dash.

Humphreys caught 18 passes for 276 yards and 3 touchdowns last season. His athleticism was on full display when he hauled in a crucial late touchdown against Tennessee.

Humphreys is Georgia’s top returning wide receiver in 2026. He’s expected to take on a significant role in the Georgia offense this fall.

On the defensive side of the ball, defensive tackle Elijah Griffin earned recognition for his immense physical gifts.

Whereas Humphreys arrived at Georgia as a transfer, Griffin was the No. 1 defensive recruit in his recruiting class.

For anyone who has seen Griffin work, it’s easy to see why.

“Griffin looks like the next dominator to come through the pipeline,” Feldman wrote. “He was a Freshman All-American last year. He caused a lot of havoc in 2025, making 22 tackles and 2.5 TFLs.

“The 6-4, 310-pound Griffin, who won’t turn 20 until midseason, broad jumped 9-5, got 29 1/2 inches on the vertical and power cleaned 355 pounds.”

Similar to Humphreys, Georgia is counting on Griffin to be a difference-maker this fall for the Bulldogs. While the wide receiver position is a concern, the defensive line is poised to be a strength for Georgia this year.

If that is to happen, Griffin’s rapid development will be a big reason why.

“We need him to be a playmaker for us this year,” Georgia coach Kirby Smart said at SEC media days. “And it just it makes me proud to see his growth in terms of he was a physically gifted kid coming in. I mean, his numbers when he got here were like, OK, wait, he has the highest bench, highest strength, highest quickness of the room. But now he’s learning how to actually use that, and we want to see a big jump in his play and his disruption inside back.”

Griffin and Humphreys aren’t the only elite athletes on this Georgia team, as tight end Jaden Reddell, offensive lineman Juan Gaston, defensive lineman Joseph Jonah-Ajonye, linebacker Chris Cole and cornerback Ellis Robinson are among the best athletes on this Georgia team.

The Bulldogs, who were ranked No. 3 in the initial Coaches Poll, open the season on Sept. 5 against Tennessee State.
