The best social media reactions from Georgia’s huge win over Florida.
Even on the day after Georgia’s huge win against No. 9 Florida, players and fans alike are still talking about No. 7 Georgia’s impressive showing.
The Bulldogs came away with a 36-17 victory versus the Gators on Saturday, giving Georgia its second consecutive win over Florida. This is only the second time since 1990 that the Bulldogs have won back-to-back games against the Gators.
And one of the more fun clips that came out was an old commitment video involving Jake Fromm, Richard LeCounte, Jeremiah Holloman and Malik Herring. In the video—in which Holloman and Herring announced their commitments to Georgia—Fromm and LeCounte, dressed in Santa suits, guaranteed that Georgia would beat Florida in their first two seasons at Georgia.
And that is now exactly what they have done.

Holloman, Herring and LeCounte all seemed to remember the iconic video after the game, as they all referenced it afterwards. To see their full commitment video, with Fromm and LeCounte in their Santa costumes, click here. It also helps that all four players, especially Fromm, had huge games on Saturday.

The Bulldogs have one more big road game to play and it’s a doozy, as the Bulldogs visit Kentucky next week for what will likely be another top-10 matchup. Kentucky beat Missouri on the final play of the game on Saturday to win 15-14 and make next Saturday’s game a de-facto SEC East Championship game. The game is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff and can be seen on CBS.
