UGA freshman Jake Fromm‘s senior year was captured by a documentary film crew this past season at Houston County.

The executive producer of that project was the creator of the fantastic “Friday Night Lights” series. The show spanned several seasons and it created a loyal following on NBC.

His new effort will focus on the lives of three college-bound senior quarterbacks from across the country. The release of that trailer was first reported by The Los Angeles Times.

“QB1: Beyond the Lights” will tell the interwoven stories of three high school quarterbacks. The senior years of Ohio State freshman Tate Martell and Wake Forest signee Wake Forest freshman Tayvon Bowers form the story arc with Fromm.

The 10-part series will debut on Feb. 15 on Complex Networks’ Rated Red on Verizon’s go90. Go90 is a Verizon app which streams original programming.

It seems like Fromm and Martell are always linked. They were on the same 7-on-7 team at Nike’s “The Opening”  last summer. They were the opposing starting quarterbacks for the East and West teams last month at the U.S. Army All-American Game in Texas.

Now, there’s this.

Check out the above trailer. It also features a few cameos from another UGA signee, too. Malik Herring as his Mary

That’s 4-star DE Malik Herring. Herring and his Mary Persons team faced Fromm’s Bears in the season opener last August.  Houston County and Fromm beat Herring and Mary Persons in that contest.
