ATHENS — Add Terry Godwin to the list of Georgia receivers dealing with a preseason injury.

First it was sophomore Isaiah McKenzie, who hurt his hamstring last week and has been out. Now Godwin, the highly-touted freshman, has a “small little shoulder injury,” per fellow receiver Reggie Davis.

It’s not clear how long Godwin will be out. The team didn’t hold a practice Monday, but is due to return Tuesday for a full-pads workout.

Godwin had been doing well so far in practice, according to Davis.

“Once I found out he was a baseball player I knew he had good hand-eye coordination, and he showed that the first day,” Davis said. “He learns very well, so I think he has a very good future ahead of him.”
