KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — UGA needed a spark after Nick Chubb suffered a serious injury on the game’s first play, and Leonard Floyd provided it.
Midway through the first quarter, Floyd recovered a fumble forced by Davin Bellamy — snatching it out of midair, in mid-stride — and returned it 96-yards for a touchdown giving UGA an early 7-0 lead.
It was not the longest fumble return in Georgia history. That actually came last year when Damian Swann took a fumble back 99 yards for a touchdown against Georgia Tech.
