J.J. Frazier’s fabulous Georgia career officially came to an end on Wednesday when the Bulldogs lost to Belmont in the National Invitation Tournament.

On Friday, the senior point guard posted a lengthy note to his Twitter account, thanking coach Mark Fox, the University of Georgia and all of those who have supported him in his time at the school.

“Now 1,628 points, 388 rebounds, 422 assists, 164 steals and 4 years later; I will be forever grateful for my time here, the relationships I built and the memories made,” Frazier wrote. “Without a doubt one of the best decisions I’ve ever made was to Commit to the G.”

Each year at Georgia, Frazier increased his scoring output, and finished his senior year averaging 18.8 points per game. In addition to leading the team in scoring this year, Frazier averaged 4.1 assists and 1.9 steals for the Bulldogs and was named first team All-SEC.

The Bulldogs went 19-15 this season, falling just short of the NCAA Tournament. Next year’s team returns nine of the top 10 scorers, with Frazier being the only one not returning. Guards Tyree Crump and Turtle Jackson will look to make up for much of Frazier’s production.
