Murray was cut by the Chiefs in August, after spending two seasons with them. He was taken in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft after a stellar career at Georgia. Murray was signed to the Cardinals practice squad shortly afterward.
The Eagles started Carson Wentz in their season opening win against the Cleveland Browns. Wentz was the No. 2 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Philadelphia also has Chase Daniel on the roster, who was with Murray and Pederson in Kansas City.
The Eagles take on the Chicago Bears on Monday night. Georgia travels to Missouri on Saturday.
